About Lumenrack
The people and facilities behind our Midwest interconnection hub.
Our Story
Built Where Networks Meet
Lumenrack began with a simple observation: the country’s most important fiber routes cross in Omaha, yet networks had to haul traffic to the coasts to exchange it. We set out to give those networks a better meeting point.
Today our Douglas Street campus and second Omaha facility host more than 60 carriers, major cloud platforms and the Heartland IX — a neutral ground where competitors connect and everyone’s traffic gets faster.
We are owner-operated, staffed around the clock by local engineers, and stubborn about one thing: your uptime.

Annual Gathering
Meet In The Middle Event
Each year we bring carriers, clouds, broadband providers and enterprises to Omaha for two days of peering sessions, facility tours and plain-spoken panels on where interconnection goes next.
Past editions have sold out the tour slots and filled the exchange fabric with new sessions. Join the newsletter below or contact us for an invitation to the next one.
